THE WORK SIDE OFFICIAL HANDBOOK

Operational Guidelines, Do’s, Don’ts, and Best Practices

Version: 2.0 (2026 Edition) | Platform: Work Side | Motto: "Never Miss a Deadline."

PART 1: PREAMBLE AND CORE PHILOSOPHY

Welcome to Work Side, the premier digital ecosystem connecting ambitious Students (Clients) with skilled Users (Workers). Our platform is built on three pillars: Integrity, Speed, and Quality. Unlike other platforms, we operate on a strict "Slot Booking" and "Deadline Priority" system.

To ensure a seamless experience where Students get top-tier results and Workers earn their fair share, strict adherence to these guidelines is mandatory. Violation of these "Do’s and Don’ts" may result in account suspension, forfeiture of the ₹499 registration fee, or permanent banning.

PART 2: FOR STUDENTS (CLIENTS)

The "Student" is the individual posting the project, booking the slot, and funding the work.

A. THE "DO'S" (Best Practices for Success)

  1. DO Provide Comprehensive Details

The quality of the work you receive is directly related to the clarity of your instructions. When creating a "Work Side" order:

    • Be Specific: Do not just say "Write an essay." Say, "Write a 1000-word essay on the History of Indian Economy (1990-2020) using APA format."
    • Attach Files: Always upload relevant class notes, rubrics, or sample codes.
    • Set Realistic Deadlines: While our workers are fast, giving a reasonable timeline ensures better quality.
  2. DO Use the Secure Payment Gateways

We support multiple payment options including UPI, Credit Cards, and Net Banking.

    • Fund Your Wallet: Ensure your wallet has sufficient funds before booking a slot.
    • Release Payments: Once the work is delivered and you are satisfied, approve the work promptly. This helps the Worker get paid and boosts your rating as a "Good Client."
  3. DO Communicate Respectfully

Treat the Worker as a professional partner.

    • Constructive Feedback: If a draft isn't right, explain why specifically (e.g., "The second paragraph contradicts the introduction") rather than saying "This is bad."
    • Response Time: Check your notifications. If a Worker asks a clarifying question, answering quickly ensures they don't miss your deadline.
  4. DO Review Work Immediately

You have a specific window (usually 72 hours) to review the delivered files.

    • Check Everything: Run the code, read the document, checks the citations.
    • Request Revisions: If there is an error, request a revision immediately within the system.

B. THE "DON'TS" (Prohibited Actions)

  1. DON'T Request Personal Contact Information

Strictly Prohibited: You must never ask for a Worker's phone number, email, WhatsApp, or Telegram handle.

Risk: Taking work off-platform removes your payment protection. If a Worker scams you outside of "Work Side," we cannot help you.

  2. DON'T Engage in "Scope Creep"

Definition: "Scope Creep" is when you add new requirements after the price and deadline have been agreed upon.

Rule: If you asked for a "Login Page" and the Worker agreed, you cannot later ask for a "Payment Integration" for the same price. You must create a new project or pay a bonus.

  3. DON'T Ask for Illegal or Unethical Work

Academic Integrity: You should use the work provided as a reference, study guide, or model answer. Do not submit the work as your own if it violates your institution's policies.

Illegal Content: Do not ask for hacking scripts, phishing pages, or hate speech content.

  4. DON'T Abuse the Refund Policy

Fairness: Do not claim the work is "bad" just to get a refund while secretly keeping and using the file. Our Admins review all disputes, and fraudulent refund claims will lead to a Student ban.

PART 3: FOR USERS (WORKERS / FREELANCERS)

The "User" is the registered professional who has paid the ₹499 fee and is verified to work.

A. THE "DO'S" (The Standard of Performance)

  1. DO Treat Deadlines as Sacred

Our platform’s reputation is built on the promise: "Never Miss a Deadline Again."

    • Planning: Only accept a project ("Claim a Slot") if you are 100% sure you can finish it by the time stated.
    • Buffer Time: Submit your work at least 2 hours before the final cutoff to allow for file upload issues or minor corrections.
    • Communication: If a genuine emergency occurs (e.g., medical emergency), inform the Admin immediately.
  2. DO Maintain the ₹1499 Wallet Strategy

Goal Setting: Since the minimum withdrawal is ₹1499, plan your work schedule to hit this target efficiently.

    • Batching: Complete multiple small tasks or one large project to reach the withdrawal threshold.
    • Patience: Remember that withdrawals take 7 Working Days. Do not spam the support team on Day 2 asking for your money; it is in the automated queue.
  3. DO Provide 100% Original Work

Zero Tolerance: We use advanced plagiarism detection.

    • Writing: Every sentence must be written by you. Citations must be accurate.
    • Coding: Code must be clean. If you use open-source libraries, you must credit them in the comments.
  4. DO Follow Instructions Perfectly

Read Twice, Work Once: If the Student asks for "British English," do not write in "American English." If they ask for a "Black Background," do not make it "Blue."

    • Files: Submit the exact file format requested (PDF, DOCX, ZIP, HTML).
  5. DO Value Your Registration

Investment: You paid a non-refundable ₹499 to join this elite workforce. Protect that investment by maintaining a 4-star rating or higher. High-rated workers get priority access to high-paying slots.

B. THE "DON'TS" (Grounds for Termination)

  1. DON'T Use AI Tools Blindly

The AI Rule: While AI (like ChatGPT) can be used for brainstorming, you cannot simply copy-paste AI responses and submit them as your work. AI text is often detectable and lacks the human nuance clients pay for.

Penalty: Detected AI-spam submissions will result in an immediate rejection of the project and a warning strike.

  2. DON'T "Ghost" a Project

Definition: "Ghosting" is accepting a project and then disappearing/going silent without delivering.

Consequence: This is the worst offense on our platform. Ghosting results in an immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of any funds currently in your wallet.

  3. DON'T Share Personal Payment Details

Security: Never ask a Student to pay you via GPay/PhonePe directly to avoid the platform commission.

Detection: Our chat filters detect phone numbers and keywords like "Paytm me directly." This triggers an automatic suspension.

  4. DON'T Submit Incomplete Work

The "Placeholder" Trick: Do not upload a blank file or a half-finished file just to stop the timer.

Result: This is considered fraud. You must upload the final version.

PART 4: TECHNICAL & QUALITY STANDARDS

To ensure uniformity across "Work Side," all deliverables must meet these technical standards.

  1. Web Development & Coding Standards

    • Comments: All code (HTML, CSS, JS, Python, etc.) must be well-commented so the Student understands how it works.
    • Structure:
      • Separate CSS into style.css (don't use inline CSS unless asked).
      • Separate JS into script.js.
    • Responsiveness: Unless stated otherwise, all web pages must be mobile-responsive.
    • Cleanliness: Remove unused code or "dead" classes before submission.
  2. Content Writing Standards

    • Formatting: Use standard fonts (Times New Roman, Arial) at size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, unless specified otherwise.
    • References: Adhere strictly to the requested citation style (APA, MLA, Harvard). A bibliography/Works Cited page is mandatory for academic tasks.
    • Tone: Match the requested tone (Formal, Casual, Persuasive, Technical).
  3. Graphic Design Standards

    • Source Files: Always provide the source file (PSD, AI, Figma) alongside the export (JPG, PNG) unless the client only paid for the image.
    • Resolution: All print designs must be 300 DPI. Web designs should be 72 DPI.

PART 5: FINANCIAL PROTOCOLS

Understanding the money flow is crucial for a happy experience on "Work Side."

  1. The Wallet System

    • Students: Your deposited money is held in "Escrow." It is safe. It only leaves the system when you approve the work.
    • Workers: Your earned money sits in your "Pending Balance" until the Student approves. Once approved, it moves to "Withdrawable Balance."
  2. Withdrawal Rules (The "7-Day Rule")

    • Request: You can request a withdrawal once your balance hits ₹1499.
    • The Wait: From the moment you click "Withdraw," it takes 7 Working Days for the money to hit your bank account.
    • Example: If you request on Monday, you will likely receive it by the next Tuesday or Wednesday.
    • Holidays: Sundays and Bank Holidays do not count as "Working Days."
  3. Refunds & Disputes

    • Dispute Phase: If a Student rejects work, the project enters "Dispute."
    • Admin Verdict: An Admin will download the file and read the instructions.
    • If the Worker followed instructions: Worker gets paid.
    • If the Worker ignored instructions: Student gets refunded.
    • The Admin's decision is final.

PART 6: ACCOUNT SECURITY & INTEGRITY

  1. Password Protection

You are responsible for all activity on your account. Do not share your password. If your account is hacked and used to spam, you are liable.

  2. Identity Verification

Workers: You may be asked to re-verify your ID (Aadhar/PAN) when you reach high earning milestones. This is to prevent tax fraud and underage working.

  3. Multiple Accounts

One Person, One Account: You cannot create multiple Worker accounts to avoid bad ratings. Our system tracks IP addresses and Device IDs. Duplicate accounts will be merged or banned.

PART 7: CONCLUSION

The Work Side platform is designed to be a meritocracy. Those who work hard, respect deadlines, and communicate clearly will find immense success and financial freedom here.

For the Student: We promise you reliability.

For the Worker: We promise you opportunity.
